Pr Peter Casillas is from the Rocky Mountain Conference in Denver, Colorado, US. He is the Associate Pastor for the Green Team-(Creative Ministries) and Common Ground-(Young Adults) at LifeSource Adventist Fellowship. His three primary passions are; meeting people anywhere and everywhere, travelling for missions, and just plain travelling! Peter has a multi- cultural background which allows him to enjoy life with meaning. His education includes a B.A. in Theology, Masters in Divinity, and 8 Units of Clinical Pastoral Education. He believes in people and where they come from as part of the beauty of how the Jesus' message is able to reach, understand, and journey together with a life.

Friday: "Got a Label? I got a Kingdom."
Throughout the Bible, God's heart and passion for people doesn't concern labels but a Temple who meets humanity where they are.

Sabbath Morning: "Give Me a Drink."
When the Temple meets you at your lowest reality, as a response the search of true worship is born.

Sabbath Afternoon: "The Spirituality of Imperfection"
Two Temples, two Gospels, one True Passion. Contextual Worship - making it meaningful to a 2nd Generation.

 Worship Leadership and Worship Planning

1 Multigenerational Worship
Speaker: Kylie Ward & Valmai Hill
This seminar provides practical ideas to plan worship services that are multigenerational in focus. Going beyond including the kids or a song for the "oldies" to planning your service around all the generations present, is easy with a few simple tips.

2 Worship Leading as Upfront Worship Leaders
Speaker: Marian Moroney
How to communicate and craft a Spirit led worship journey that leads the church to the throne of God.

3 First Impressions
Speaker: Travis Kask
We put in a lot of time and effort into producing an amazing service, we have talented singers practicing week in and week out so they can create an atmosphere of praise and worship.  We spend countless hours preparing our sermons so that God can use us to expand his kingdom.  But before our worship service even begins, a first-time guest has already decided whether they’ll return to your church.  This means that all church leaders need to be intentional about creating no-fail, practical ways to ensure a visitor’s first impression is the best impression.

4 Enter the Worship Circle
Speaker: Anton Van Wyk
We live in a world that is asking profoundly difficult questions.  There are questions about identity, questions about what it means to be human, about who God is and whether He is even relevant, about the possibilities of healing and hope.  Our world is one that exudes atheism, invites scepticism and whispers uncertainty. To engage with such a world is no easy matter.   It is not as simple as providing “seven steps to victorious living” or “the five laws of financial blessing”.  We are being forced back to fundamentals because as a church we constantly sense the profound dissonance of the world that is our world too.  This seminar will endeavor to lay bare the sacred elements of Worship in an effort to address some of the big questions in the culture and in the church.

 Church

5 Pictures of Church
Speaker: Brendan Pratt
What do you think of when you hear the word 'Church'? What did God design the church to 'be'? What did God design the church to 'do'? What are the advantages and disadvantages of different models of the church? What is the next step in moving the church I am part of toward God's mission for His church? This workshop will look at the whole idea of church, where it came from and what it means to shape a healthy church.

6 Why all this Worship Variety?
Speaker: Lyell Heise
This workshop is important for pastors, worship leaders, and worship teams. It provides a framework for understanding worship variety and worship change, and shows the place of Adventist worship in the larger picture of Christian worship. It shows why the pressure for change keeps emerging from one generation to the next

 Technical Aspects

7 Is It Loud and Clear?
Speaker: Fine Teulilo
This workshop focuses on making sure that everyone in your congregation receives the messages and music clearly. It provides tips and key points on the importance of good sound in the worship experience

8  Using PowerPoint Effectively
Speaker: Paul Hopson
Have you ever been frustrated with PowerPoint? Can't read the words? Wrong words for songs? How do you put together a good presentation? Then this practical seminar is for you. Learn how to use PowerPoint effectively in your church! (to get the most from this seminar it would be best if you bring your own laptop with either PowerPoint or OpenOffice installed.)

 Communication

9 ‘Doers of the Word Preaching’
Speaker: Eddie Tupa’i
Did you know that people forget 90% of what they hear within 72 hours?  Are you a preacher who prays that your sermon will make a difference in someone’s life?  Come and learn how to move your congregation from being ‘hearers of the Word’ to ‘doers of the Word’!  Our preaching truly has made a difference when people experience life change.  How do we get our sermons to last longer than 72 hours?  Learn from Solomon, Jesus and Paul how that is done.

10  Significant Preaching: The "S" Factor
Speaker: Ed Gallagher
Proposition: Almost everything that is typically taught and written about sermon preparation might have to be laid aside to make room for another factor. It's what I call the "S" Factor—an ingredient or dynamic so critical that there's no significant preaching without it.
This factor is equally available to all who are called to share Christ publicly in any way. It can turn ordinary people and regular church members into effective teachers of the Word. This factor is both terrifying and comforting! You can't earn it, achieve it, or buy it. But according to Scripture, it's yours for the asking.

11 Creative and Contextual Preaching
Speaker: Peter Casillas
Learn the art of the ancient times. The instrument through which God's message was communicated to his people in their respective context and culture. Through this art today we can still reach both moderns and post-moderns alike with meaning and significance.

 Creative Arts

12 Vocal Skills for Worship Leaders
Speaker: Marian Moroney
Singing techniques for your voice to enable you to lead worship with confidence and strength.

13 Musicians & Music Leaders in Local Churches
Speaker: Lyell Heise & Valmai Hill
This workshop seeks to offer insights into how to run a music ministry in churches of various sizes. It addresses such questions as: how to structure a music ministry, locating resources for music worship teams, selecting music for worship, involving a variety of musicians in worship, maximising the impact of music in your worship.

 Christian Growth

14  Discipleship
Speaker: Brendan Pratt
Jesus calls us to make disciples. What is a disciple? What does it take to make one? How can a congregation become a disciple-making church? This workshop looks at recent research on spiritual formation and the implications for how we go about ministry. It includes a section on children's discipleship and what it takes to confront our culture of consumerism that drags us away from discipleship.

15  Spiritual Pathways
Speaker: Brendan Pratt
God has wired you up for a unique relationship with Him. Don't get caught trying to live someone else's 'spiritual' life. This workshop looks at the various ways God shapes us for connecting with him and begins putting together a spiritual formation plan that is just for you.
