Southern & Northern Adventurer Rallies

It was exciting to see over 80 adventurers, parents and leaders gathered on May 1st at Longburn Adventist College, for the Southern Adventurer Rally. On May 15th we held the Northern Adventurer Rally at ASDAH where we were blessed with over 500 adventurers, parents and leaders attending. As part of the program on the day, each child had the opportunity to earn the 'Bible Royalty' Award. Clubs worked before hand on the retelling of the story of Esther and to memorize Psalms 100:4. On the day they made crowns which they all wore for the rest of the day, and enacted the story of King Darius with Daniel in the Lion's Den. Pr Mau Tuaoi with the help of some Adventurers re-enacted the story of King Nebuchadnezzar with Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. A special ceremony was held for the Helping Hands as an acknowledgement that this was to be their last Adventurer Rally before moving into Pathfinders. Pr Mau concluded the rally reminding our Adventurers that they are part of God's royal family and everyone of them are His Princes and Princesses. This year the northern adventurers were treated to a royal splash at the Massey Aquatic centre as part of an evening social program prepared by the Youth Department of the conference. The adventurer clubs who attended were refreshed and energized to carry on with their royal duties on earth as sons and daughters of the King of the Universe!
