Dr Erika Puni |
Regionals are a great opportunity for building community within the churches in a region. Once a year, members across the region get to worship and fellowship with their extended church family.
On the 6th of March, close to 400 members from the Feilding, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Mosaic, Levin and Masterton churches gathered at the Palmerston North Central Church for what is being called one of the best and most Christ-Centered Regionals in recent times.
The Focus for the day was Stewardship with Dr Erika Puni, Stewardship Director for the General Conference taking the sermon on The Narrow View Vs The Broad View of Stewardship, where he talked about moving away from the focus on stewardship programs to a lifestyle that embodied stewardship. He talked about being good stewards of not just our money but of all aspects of our lives.
The Regional was blessed with uplifting music, ministry stories and a great ambience of oneness, fellowship and Christian Love.
Dr Erika Puni also conducted a Stewardship Seminar* in the afternoon which was well attended by over 120 people.
Please keep the churches of the Manawatu region in your prayers. May they grow in truth and in spirit, and may they be filled with His grace and overflow onto the communities around them.
