Maori SDA Regional Hui

Over 130 people from Rotorua, Tauranga, Whakatane, Kawerau, Reporoa, Auckland, Meremere, Raglan, Hamilton & Ngaruawahia came to attend the 2009 SDA Maori Regional Hui.
The hui was extra special in the fact that it was a first for any Marae in NZ to serve meals throughout a weekend hui that was completely meat free and also dairy free. All the attendees were richly nourished all weekend long with CHIP food!
The attendees were predominantly youth ranging from the ages of 16 - 30. The weekend program which consisted of an Amazing Race, glorious singing, a great social evening and even a Kapa Haka at Poroporoake, was a blessing to all those who attended.
The SDA Maori Regional Hui for 2010 will be held in Tamaki, Makaurau (Auckland) from November 19-21, 2010.
